Assault, drug cases among those recently handled in Judge DeLuca’s Penn Hills court – Nov. 18, 2019

Penn Hills District Judge Anthony L. DeLuca handled the following cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court. Charges were filed by Penn Hills police unless otherwise noted.

Held for court

• Jerquay Atkins, 21, of Pittsburgh on charges of providing false identification to law enforcement. Allegheny County police filed the charges July 31.

Waived preliminary hearings

• Erin Yelverton, 39, of Penn Hills on charges of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license. Charges were filed March 8.

• Iman Wilkerson, 26, of Oakmont on charges of possession of marijuana, driving under the influence, improper pass, limitations on driving on left side of road, disregard traffic lane, careless driving and accident involving damage to unattended vehicle or property. Charges were filed Sept. 18.

• Gino Pusateri, 45, of Penn Hills on charges of ethnic intimidation, terroristic threats and two counts of simple assault. Wilkins police filed the charges Sept. 21.

• Garrette Paolino, 23, of Carnegie on charges of criminal use of a communication facility, possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession with intent to deliver. Bridgeville police filed the charges Sept. 27.

Paolino went before the judge on another case. He waived a preliminary hearing on charges of criminal use of a communication facility, possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession with intent to deliver. Bridgeville police filed the charges Sept. 27.

• Kyle Dudley, 28, of Penn Hills on charges of driving under the influence, accident involving death or personal injury and accident to unattended vehicle or property. Wilkins police filed the charges Nov. 1.

• Davaughn Jones, 27, of Penn Hills, on charges of flight to avoid apprehension, tampering with physical evidence and two counts of possession of controlled substances. Charges were filed Nov. 8.
