One person was taken to a hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Pittsburgh’s Squirrel Hill neighborhood Thursday.

Allegheny County emergency dispatchers said crews responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian just after 3 p.m. near Wilkins Avenue and Beechwood Boulevard.

Streets were closed for at least an hour after the incident.

The pedestrian’s condition was not unavailable.
