Irwin to hold holiday light-up night, parade
The annual light-up night and holiday parade will be held Nov. 17 in downtown Irwin.
The tree will be lit at 6:20 p.m. at the S&T parking lot off Main Street, with the parade of fire trucks and marchers to begin on Main Street at 6:30 p.m.
The event is sponsored by the Norwin Rotary Club.
St. Agnes Church to hold Breakfast with St. Nick
Children will be able to have their photos taken with St. Nick, the patron saint of children, and play games, make cards and crafts during Breakfast With St. Nick from 9 to 11 a.m. Dec. 3 at St. Agnes Church, 11400 St. Agnes Lane, North Huntingdon.
There will be information about service projects as well at the free event. Families are encouraged to bring a baby item to donate to Catholic Charities’ baby closet.

Irwin Male Chorus to perform
The Irwin Male Chorus has several events scheduled to perform seasonal music:
• 3 p.m. Nov. 27 at First Baptist Church of Greensburg, 1228 Brinkerton Rd., Hempfield
• 7 p.m. Dec. 4 at the First United Methodist Church, Oak and Third streets, Irwin
• 7 p.m. Dec. 11 at Harold Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 671 Baltzer Meyer Pike, Hempfield
• 7 p.m. Dec. 18 at Norvelt Union Church, 2339 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Norvelt.
Women’s club sells wreaths for graves of veterans
The Level Green Community Women’s Club is selling fresh wreaths for $15 to be placed on the graves of veterans at Union Cemetery in Irwin or the Immaculate Conception and Long Run cemeteries in North Huntingdon on Dec. 17 .
Those interested can sponsor a remembrance wreath to be placed on a veteran’s grave as part of the North Huntingdon chapter of Wreaths Across America.
The deadline for online orders is Nov. 30. Orders should be placed through the Level Green Community Women’s Club’s page at www.wreathsacrossamerica.org.
Those wanting to pay by check can make the note payable to Wreaths Across America and mail it to P.O. Box 63, Trafford, PA 15085.
