Work through November on Freeport Road, Marshall

PennDOT has announced that roadwork will get underway on Freeport Road in Marshall and Route 910 in Richland.

Roadway improvement work on Route 910 (Gibsonia Road) in Richland Township and Route 4054 (Freeport Road) in Marshall Township is expected to get underway July 18, weather permitting and last through mid-November.

Single lane restrictions are expected to occur as needed daily in the following locations:

Route 910 between Hardt Road and Route 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Freeport Road between Perry Highway and Sheraton Drive from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Crews will be permitted to restrict traffic during paving operations from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Freeport Road and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Route 910.

Improvement work includes milling and paving, drainage upgrades, base and shoulder repairs, guide rail updates, pavement markings, and other various construction related activities.

The prime contractor on this $5.24 million group paving project is A. Folino Construction.
