Registration is open for kids to join next week’s free Mega Sports Camp at Northgate Church in Ross Township.
Children in first through sixth grade will be able to participate in either soccer, basketball, baseball, cheerleading, art, dodgeball or gymnastics.
The camp will be in session from 6 to 8:30 p.m. June 21-25.
Kids also will gather for upbeat rallies filled with music, sports stories, visual learning experiences and Bible stories aimed at helping them discover the character traits needed to excel in sports and in life.
Face coverings will be optional, but temperature checks will be conducted for all volunteers and campers during registration, which is required to attend.

Children need not attend every evening the camp is in session.
Donations will be accepted during the camp to help support the nonprofit Espwa Foundation to obtain a filter for clean water for children in Haiti.
