Hillman Performing Arts Series lineup set
The Hillman Center for Performing Arts at Shady Side Academy has announced the lineup for the 2021 Hillman Performing Arts Series. The season includes four shows from March through May 2021.
The season typically runs from fall through spring but shows were shifted for covid-19 restrictions, in the hopes of being able to offer families a safe, socially distant musical experience. Depending on public health guidance in the spring, performances will either be held inside the Hillman Center’s 660-seat Richard E. Rauh Theater or at an outdoor venue on campus, with socially distant seating and any necessary safety protocols in place.
All shows begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 per show and go on sale Nov. 16 at thehillman.org or by phone at 412-968-3040.
The 2021 season lineup includes: “The American Songster” Dom Flemons on March 13, folk musicians The Honey Dewdrops on March 27, Latin singer Sonia De Los Santos on April 17 and pianist Robin Spielberg on May 8.
