A Murrysville man is accused of illegally entering one Pittsburgh home and attempting to break into another on Saturday.

Seth Izatt, 25, is charged with felony counts of criminal trespassing and attempted criminal trespassing. A district judge released him Sunday on nonmonetary bond.

In a criminal complaint, Pittsburgh police said officers encountered Izatt while responding to a burglary in progress at 221 Zara St. in Pittsburgh’s Knoxville neighborhood. Izatt, shirtless and stained with blood, matched the suspect description provided by dispatch and was detained by police, the complaint states.

The victim on Zara Street later identified Izatt as the man who walked into her home through an unlocked back door without taking anything, according to police.

Shortly after, police said they received a call for a similar incident one block over on 148 Charles Street. Izatt attempted to kick in a side door, but was forced off the property by an occupant, the complaint states.
