Munhall stabbing leaves man in critical condition

A man was stabbed in Munhall Sunday afternoon and later taken to a hospital.

Allegheny County Police responded to a call at 3:15 p.m. in the 3800 block of Shady Avenue in Munhall and found an adult male with a stab wound to the chest.

He was taken to an area hospital and is listed in critical, but stable, condition, said police. The man’s identity was not released.

Allegheny County Police said homicide detectives initiated an investigation.
