Ross firefighters free 2 after crash on McKnight Road

Crews from Seville VFC in Ross had to remove the passenger-side door of a highly damaged car Thursday evening to free two occupants following a single-vehicle crash on McKnight Road.

The crash took place around 8:30 p.m. when the vehicle hit a pole on the 4600 block of McKnight, according to Seville’s Facebook page.

It’s unclear if the occupants suffered any injuries.


Crash slows Route 28 traffic

A crash early Friday morning slowed traffic on Route 28 near the 40th Street Bridge.

Footage from TribLive news partner WTAE shows at least three vehicles involved in the crash. None appear extensively damaged.

Allegheny County 911 dispatchers said the initial crash reports came at 5:22 a.m., and the scene was cleared before 7 a.m.

Nobody was transferred from the scene, dispatchers said.
