The Allegheny County Department of Public Works announced that work on Patton Street and Wilmerding and Monroeville Road has been completed.

In Monroeville and Wilmerding, crews milled and paved, removed brick from underneath the road, installed new drainage pipes and inlets, made other drainage improvements, performed shoulder work, and installed guide rails, signage and pavement markings.

The project, which began on July 18, required a full closure for four weeks during September and October, and periodic single‑lane closures during the rest of the project, which was completed by A. Folino Construction Inc. of Oakmont as part the $7.3 million 2022 Capital Roads contract.
