Monroeville police file theft, other charges

Monroeville police, unless otherwise noted, filed the following charges May 21-28 in District Judge Jeffrey L. Herbst’s office:

• Kelly L. Mullen, 47, of McKeesport with retail theft, tampering with evidence, prohibited acts related to illicit drug activity and resisting arrest. Charges were filed May 21 in connection with an incident at Kohl’s along William Penn Highway.

• Edward M. Cararini, 26, of Youngwood with possession of a heroin stamp bag. Charges were filed May 22 in connection with an incident in the 1700 block of James Street.

• Benjamin H. Payne, 22, of Wilmerding with two counts of retail theft. Charges were filed May 23 in connection with an incident at Kohl’s along William Penn Highway.

• Steven R. Strutt, 46, of Irwin with theft and driving with a revoked or suspended license. Charges were filed May 23 in connection with an incident at Sheetz along Mosside Boulevard.

• Brian Whitmore, 24, of Monroeville with three DUIs and failing to drive on the right side of the roadway. Charges were filed May 23 in connection with an incident in the 300 block of Old Haymaker Road.

• Sheri Fehl, 35, of Plum with retail theft. Charges were filed May 23 in connection with an incident at Kohl’s along William Penn Highway.

• Jennifer L. Edwards, 48, of Pittsburgh with possession of heroin with intent to deliver, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness. Charges were filed May 23 in connection with an incident at Giant Eagle along Monroeville Boulevard.

• David Cromwell, 45, of North Braddock with criminal attempt, impersonating a public servant, possessing instruments of crime, disorderly conduct, retail theft and criminal mischief. Charges were filed May 27 in connection with an incident at Giant Eagle along Monroeville Boulevard.

• Bruce A. Hubbard, 61, of New Kensington with retail theft. The charge was filed May 28 in connection with an incident at At Home along Mall Boulevard.

• Gabrielle Savage, 31, of Ambridge with disorderly conduct, obstructing administration of law or other governmental function, defiant trespassing and resisting arrest. Charges were filed by Pitcairn police May 28 in connection with an incident on the 300 block of Broadway Boulevard in Pitcairn.

The following were arrested and charged May 21 in connection to a related incident at Kohl’s along William Penn Highway:

• Heather Stefanik, 24, of Vandergrift with criminal conspiracy, two counts of prohibited acts related to illicit drug activity including being in possession of heroin, receiving stolen property and theft.

• Veronica J. Valdez, 49, of Vandergrift with criminal conspiracy and theft.

• Lynzie N. Johnson, 23, of Ford City with retail theft and prohibited acts related to illicit drug activity.
