Farm market moving

The Monroeville Lions Farmer’s Market is moving to the Monroeville Mall parking lot between Dick’s Sporting Goods and Best Buy. It will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays from May 13 through Nov. 18.

The previous location was Monroeville Community Park West, where traffic and parking concerns prompted the relocation.

‘Good As New’ book sale set

The 27th annual “Good As New” used book sale will be held April 21-23 at Monroeville United Methodist Church, 219 Center Road.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday.

A variety of fiction, nonfiction and children’s books will be available. Gently used puzzles and board games will also be for sale. Items may be purchased individually or $10 for a brown paper bag, which is provided.

Proceeds from the sale will be used to support local, national and international mission projects. For more information, call the church at 412-372-7474.

Mini-golf fundraiser at library

Join Monroeville Public Library for a custom-designed, 18-hole miniature golf course that will be set up throughout the library during a two-day fundraiser.

Friday Fun night for adults 21 and older is scheduled for 5 to 9:30 on April 14. With the purchase of a $35 ticket, attendees will receive unlimited play and complimentary food and beverages. Ticket quantities are limited. Raffles and 50/50 tickets will be available for purchase.

Family Fun day for all ages is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. April 15. Tickets are $5 per person and free for children under 3. In addition to community play, food and raffles will be available for purchase.

Parish hosts Easter dinner

Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish is hosting a free community dinner on Easter, April 9, in the Lourdes Center at 245 Azalea Drive, Monroeville.

Food will be served from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., or until it is gone.

Clean Up Day set for April 29

The 28th annual Jack Sedlak Memorial Clean Up Day is scheduled from 9 to 11 a.m. April 29 in Monroeville.

An appreciation picnic is scheduled afterward at Monroeville Community Park West.
