Man shot in leg in Pitcairn

A man was shot in the leg in Pitcairn early Tuesday morning, according to Allegheny County Police.
First responders were called to the 400 block of Third Street around 1 a.m., where they found the victim.
The man was taken to the hospital and will require surgery, but is expected to survive, according to police.
