Time to give blood

The Ladies Auxiliary 85 from the White Valley AMVETS Post 85 is holding blood drive on Oct. 30.

It’s set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at AMVETS social hall, 2100 Carolina St., Export.

Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins welcomed.

Women to meet

International Women will meet Nov. 5 at Cross Roads Presbyterian Church, 2310 Haymaker Road, Monroeville.

A warm welcome is extended to all women in the community — whether foreign or American born — who are interested in spending an enjoyable morning over coffee and the program of the month.

The meeting will start at 9.30 a.m. and the program “Medical Cannabis” presented by Molly Blasier.

An expert in medical cannabis, Blasier will share her knowledge of the cannabis industry and her passion for health and wellness.

Due to covid-19 babysitting service is suspended until further notice.
