Assault, drug cases among recent Monroeville police activity – Oct. 2, 2019

Police filed the following charges Sept. 26 through Sept. 30 in District Judge Jeffrey L. Herbst’s office. All charges were filed by Monroeville police unless otherwise noted:

• Dezmon Lewis, 18, of Wilkinsburg with simple assault, defiant trespasser and two counts of resisting arrest. Charges were filed Sept. 26 in connection with an incident along the 3700 block of Northern Pike.

• Catora Wilson, 20, of New Kensington with possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstruction of highways or other public places. Charges were filed Sept. 30 in connection with an incident at Tillbrook and MacBeth drives.

• Christian Wells, 23, of Pittsburgh with possession of controlled substances, driving without a license, failure to obey traffic-control signals and driving on roadways laned for traffic. Charges were filed Sept. 30 in connection with an incident along the 2700 block of Mosside Boulevard.

• Ricky Cox, 37, of Monroeville with simple assault and disorderly conduct. Charges were filed Sept. 27 in connection with an incident along the 300 block of Old Haymaker Road.
