A man shot in the leg in Pittsburgh’s Manchester neighborhood early Sunday morning was hospitalized in stable condition, Pittsburgh police said.

The victim was found shot on the 1100 block of Sheffield Street around 2:30 a.m., as police said they responded to a Shotspotter alert of a shooting in the 1100 block of West North Avenue. Medics transported the victim to a local hospital.

No other persons were reported injured in the shooting.

The suspected shooter was reported to have fled the scene in an unknown direction.

City police are continuing the investigation.
