Pittsburgh police are searching for this man. They say he hid a camera in the bathroom at the Frick Pittsburgh in Point Breeze.

Pittsburgh police are looking for a man suspected of hiding a camera inside a city museum’s bathroom to spy on museum-goers.

The man is believed to have taken “multiple pictures and video of victims (ranging) from children to senior citizens” at The Frick Pittsburgh on South Homewood Avenue in Point Breeze, officials said in a news release

Pittsburgh police were not immediately available Thursday afternoon for comment.

A member of The Frick’s house-cleaning staff discovered the camera when cleaning the restroom in late July, Elizabeth Barker, executive director of The Frick Pittsburgh, told the Tribune-Review.

“Of course, we were absolutely horrified someone would do that,” Barker said.

The museum staff immediately contacted Zone 4 police, she added.

“We found the device and we weren’t sure what it was,” Barker said. “We reached out to the police and they took it very seriously.”

Barker said she did not recognize the man believed to be installing the camera in some captured images. He is not a member of The Frick Pittsburgh’s staff. Barker also said she was not aware of the images or video captured on the device.

Anybody with information is asked to call Zone 4 detectives at 412-422-6520.
