Man fatally shot in Station Square
A man was fatally shot Friday night in Station Square where numerous restaurants and shops are located.
Pittsburgh police responded about 11:20 p.m. to reports of a shooting at 230 W. Station Square Drive, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety.
The victim, who was initially conscious and alert, was located outside with gunshot wounds to his pelvis. Officers applied a tourniquet, but his condition quickly deteriorated, authorities said.
Medics transported the man to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
Police have no suspects but said they are looking for a smaller U-Haul box truck that fled the area.
