Man critically injured in Munhall stabbing; arrest made

An East Pittsburgh man was arrested for stabbing another in Munhall early Saturday morning.

Robert Siegel, 36, is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats and reckless endangerment. He is being held in Allegheny County Jail in Pittsburgh.

According to Allegheny County Police, officers in Munhall were called to Longfellow Drive at 1:54 a.m. for a man who had been stabbed.

He was taken to a local hospital and was listed in critical condition.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the county police tipline at 1-833-ALL-TIPS (1-833-255-8477). Callers may remain anonymous.
