2 detained after incident at Ross Park Mall, search for others continues
Two people were detained by police after a fight broke out inside Ross Park Park Mall on Saturday.
An Allegheny County 911 dispatcher confirmed that police were called to the mall around 4:30 p.m.
Ross Township Police Lt. Brian Kohlhepp told Trib news partner WPXI that there was a fight inside the mall involving as many as six people. Guns were pulled during the fight and officers said witnesses reported hearing one to three gunshots, WPXI reported.
The fight occurred on the mall’s second floor near Guest Services, according to WPXI.
Officers said two juvenile males, both 17, were in custody Saturday evening in connection with the incident, WPXI reported. Investigators said three guns were recovered.
Ross Township Police Department is leading the investigation.

No injuries were reported, according to a dispatcher.
Kohlhepp said Sunday morning the two juveniles have been lodged at the Shuman Juvenile Detention Center. No further information was expected to be released Sunday.
