In brief: news from Marshall Middle School and more
The Make-A-Wish Club at Marshall Middle School is having its annual fundraiser at Monte Cello’s restaurant on Nov. 2 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Diners mentioning Marshall Middle School will have 25 percent of their bill donated to the Marshall Middle School “Kids for Wish Kids” Club.
The restaurant is located at 10441 Perry Highway in Wexford.
The club is working to raise money to grant the wish of a child with a critical illness.

Photographer Andrew Barclay will speak at the Zelienople Area Public Library 2 p.m. Oct. 22 at 2 p.m., sharing a PowerPoint display of his photographs and providing information and tips about photography.
The program is designed for people of any age interested in photography. It is part of the Library’s Local Showcase Series focusing on the area talent.
It is a free program with no registration necessary.
The library is located at 227 S. High St. in Zelienople.
The Local Showcase Series will continue in December with a presentation by professional organizer Vickie Dellaquila about her children’s book “Ophelia.”

AmSpirit Business Connections Cranberry Chapter, meets every Wednesday from 7:15-8:30 a.m. at the Best Western Hotel in Cranberry Township and also on Zoom.

Hampton Presbyterian Church will host a Trunk or Treat event on Oct. 29 from 2-4 pm. in the lower parking lot and adjoining field of the church. This event is open to the community.
Adults can decorate the backs of the cars for Halloween, load up on candy, and come to the church parking lot by 1-1:30 p.m. for kids to “trick or treat” from car-to-car.
