Event benefits Life Changing Service Dogs for Veterans
An event to benefit Life Changing Service Dogs for Veterans will be held June 4 at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 764, 460 Valley Brook Road, Peters Township.
The goal is to raise enough money to provide canines trained by Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs for two veterans.
The event starts at 11:30 a.m., and a $5 donation is requested. Featured will be music by Kelley Jeanne, noon to 2 p.m.; J Craiger Band, 2 to 4 p.m.; Jasperillo, 4 to 6 p.m.; Mark Meyers, 6 to 8 p.m.; and Jordan McLaughlin, 8 to 10 p.m.
Also featured are 50/50 raffles every two hours and auctions of gift baskets. Food and drink will be available for purchase.

Church of the Nazarene hosts vacation Bible school
Beach-themed vacation Bible school, “Make Waves,” is coming to South Hills Church of the Nazarene, 5601 Library Road, Bethel Park.
VBS will take place from 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 18-22. A light meal will be served for the Wave Makers each evening.
Children who have just completed kindergarten through sixth grade are invited. Registration is free and can be made at shcn.org/vbs-2022.
