Fox Chapel Area High School National Honor Society students are sponsoring the fourth annual Boo Bash from 6-7:30 p.m. Oct. 27 at the high school.
This Halloween celebration is for children from pre-kindergarten through third grade. Participants will trick-or-treat through the halls of the high school, engage in fun games and activities, and show off their costumes.
The event is free, but donations for Fox Chapel Area’s Backpack for Hunger and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank are suggested and will be accepted at the door. Items needed include single-serve breakfast cereal; cans of soup, ravioli, and spaghetti; applesauce pouches; peanut butter singles or jars; boxed or single mac and cheese; protein bars; and single-serve snack packs. Monetary donations will also be accepted.

The Fox Chapel Area High School choirs are presenting a concert, “Broadway: Then and Now,” at 7 p.m. Oct. 20 in the Fox Chapel Area High School auditorium.
The concert will feature music from the American musical theatre songbook, including tunes from Rodgers and Hammerstein, Lerner and Lowe, Flaherty and Ahrens, Stephen Sondheim, Stephen Schwartz, and more.
The concert will feature all the high school choirs: Concert Choir, Treble Singers, Madrigal Singers, Vulpes Cantantes, and the Men’s Ensemble.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance, with an additional convenience fee, at https://showtix4u.com/events/fcahsmusical. All tickets are general admission seating. Tickets will only be sold at the door pending availability.

Fox Chapel Area High School students will perform their fall play, “Arsenic and Old Lace” Nov. 3-5 at 7 p.m. at the high school auditorium.
Tickets are $8 each and will be sold at the door.
Students will give a free performance for Fox Chapel Area School District senior citizens age 60 and older at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 2 in the auditorium. Refreshments will be served at 3 p.m. in the auditorium lobby. Reservations are required. Call 412-967-2410 for reservation information for the senior citizens’ performance only.
Fox Chapel Area High School is located at 611 Field Club Road in O’Hara Township.
Local director and producer Kristiann Josephs is in charge of the fall show. Teacher Joseph Gass is serving as the technical coordinator, and teacher Mary Beth Dixon is the costume/props coordinator.
