Polling places: Where to vote in the Fox Chapel area
Here’s a list of where you can vote Nov. 3 in each of the six municipalities in the Fox Chapel Area School District:
• Aspinwall: Municipal building, 217 Commercial Ave.; Aspinwall Fire Hall, 2201 12th St.; and St. Scholastica Church, 300 Maple Ave.
• Blawnox: Blawnox Fire Hall, 376 Freeport Road
• Fox Chapel: Cooper-Siegel Community Library, 403 Fox Chapel Road; Christ Church, 630 Squaw Run Road; Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church, 384 Fox Chapel Road; and Faith United Methodist Church, 261 West Chapel Ridge Road
• Indiana Township: Districts 1 and 2, Town Hall, 3710 Saxonburg Blvd.; District 3, Rural Ridge Volunteer Fire Hall, 135 Little Deer Creek Road; District 4, Middle Road Volunteer Fire Hall, 2034 Middle Road; District 5, Fairview Elementary School, 738 Dorseyville Road
• O’Hara: Ward 1, District 1: Fox Chapel Yacht Club, 1366 Old Freeport Road; Ward 1, District 2: township municipal building, 325 Fox Chapel Road; Ward 2, District 1 and 2: St. Joe’s Church, 342 Dorseyville Road; Ward 3, District 1: Pleasant Valley Volunteer Fire Co., 152 Kittanning Pike; Ward 3, District 2: Parkview Volunteer Fire Department, 726 Midway Dr.; Ward 4, District 1: municipal building, 325 Fox Chapel Road; Ward 4, District 2: St. Joe’s Church, 342 Dorseyville Road; Ward 5, District 1 and 2: O’Hara Elementary School, 115 Cabin Lane
• Sharpsburg: municipal building, 1611 Main St.; Madonna of Jerusalem Church, 209 Ninth St.; and Northern Area Multi-Services Center, 209 13th St.
The Allegheny County Elections Division said all 1,323 polling locations will be open on Nov. 3 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Anyone in line at 8 p.m. will still be allowed the vote, according to the county’s website.
The county website states poll workers will be provided masks, gloves, face shields and hand sanitizer. There will also be Plexiglass installed at the sign-in tables, cleaning supplies, tape to mark off 6 feet of distance for people waiting in lines and extra staff to “help enforce the provisions.”
“Voters will be asked to wear a face covering in compliance with the state order. Those who arrive without a face covering will be offered one,” said an announcement on the Allegheny County elections website.
