Fox Chapel Police Department’s Stuff-a-Store toy drive ends Dec. 8.
The department is collecting new, unwrapped toys for children in need for the Western Pennsylvania Police Athletic League’s Stuff-a-Store program.
Donation boxes are located at the Cooper-Siegel Community Library, Beechwood Farms, Fox Chapel Gold Club, Pittsburgh Field Club, BZ Deli and the Fox Chapel borough building.

The Positive Painting Project is hosting an art show fundraiser on Dec. 10 from 4-7 p.m. at Ketchup City Creative, 612 Main Street, Sharpsburg.
Local artists have created special edition paintings for sale. Proceeds will benefit The Positive Painting Project and The Katie Whysong Scholarship for the Arts.

The Lauri Ann West Community Center is offering discounts on memberships for those joining in December and January.
Members have access to the indoor track, open gym, group exercise classes, and shower facilities. Memberships also include the fitness center which offers Peloton Bikes, cardio and strength training equipment, free weights, pickleball, and open gym.
There are several membership options , including those tailored to families, individuals, and seniors.

Concordia Lutheran Ministries has again opened its Adopt-A-Resident Program to the community.
Individuals, businesses or congregations may “adopt” a resident and give him or her Christmas gifts.

Sealarks Women’s Group is meeting 1 p.m. Dec 14, at Memorial Park Church, 8800 Peebles Road, McCandless.
The group provides Christian fellowship and social activity for women alone – widowed, divorced or never married. All women alone are welcome to attend and consider joining the group.
Entertainment will be provided by John Sarkas of the Skyliners.
