Fox Chapel Presbyterian announces Advent, Christmas Eve services

Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church is inviting worshipers to Advent and Christmas Eve services.

The church at Fox Chapel and Field Club roads is commemorating Advent with worship services on Sundays through Dec. 19. Worship with Communion is scheduled for 8:15 a.m.; Contemporary Worship at 9:30 a.m. and Traditional Worship at 11 a.m.

The service of Nine Lessons and Carols will be Dec. 12 at 11 a.m. featuring the Festival Chorus, the Children’s Choir, and the WV Brass Quintet.

Longest Night Worship Service on Dec. 20 will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. in the Atrium. It is a a quiet, reflective worship for those seeking peace in the holiday season.

There are four worship services scheduled Christmas Eve:

A 4:30 p.m. worship for families with young children is scheduled in the Sanctuary.

A Family Contemporary service is scheduled at 6 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.

Traditional Candlelight worship services are scheduled in the Sanctuary at 7:30 and 10:30 p.m.

The Sunday, Dec. 26 service is scheduled for 10 a.m. in Fellowship Hall.
