4 people wounded in 3 separate Pittsburgh shootings
Four people, including three juveniles, were wounded in three separate shootings in Pittsburgh between Sunday afternoon and early Monday morning, according to the city’s department of public safety.
At 3:01 p.m. Sunday, a 16-year-old boy was shot in the calf at Larimer Avenue and Deary Street in the city’s Larimer neighborhood. He was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition, police said.
Two boys were shot at Nolan Court in North Homewood at 12:31 a.m. Monday, police said. Both juveniles were taken to a hospital and are in stable condition, police said.
About two hours later, a woman was shot in the face on Bedford Avenue in the Hill District, police said. The woman had a grazing wound to her head, and told authorities that two men she didn’t know were arguing and began to shoot at each other when she was hit by a bullet.
The woman was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.
Police said the violent crimes unit is investigating the incidents.
