Fire on Wabash Street in Pittsburgh’s West End

A fire late Monday night forced residents out of a three-story apartment building on the city’s West End neighborhood, the fire bureau said.

An estimated dozen people were forced to evacuate the building in the 100 block of Wabash Street, Trib news partner WPXI reported.

Multiple fire trucks were at the scene of the fire, which was reported at about 10:15 p.m. The fire was reported to be in the attic and one person was said to be treated for smoke inhalation.

Additional details were not available late Monday night.
