A Dormont man was killed late Saturday when his motorcycle and a vehicle collided, according to Allegheny County Police and the Allegheny County Medical Examiner.

The crash was reported around 10:45 p.m. near the intersection of Pioneer and West Liberty avenues in Dormont. Christian Sluka, 23, was critically injured and died at a hospital, police said.

The driver of the red Ford Taurus that collided with Sluka’s motorcycle fled the scene on foot along with a female and small child, police said. Authorities were working to identify them.

Anyone with information is asked to call the county police tip line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS.
