First responders told WPXI that the fire apparently started in the attic and spread down the back of the house.
Firefighters had stopped the blaze within an hour.
Nobody was living in the home, which is being renovated, according to WPXI.
Peebles Road was closed while firefighters were on scene, but had reopened by 6 a.m.
A fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire, which is not believed to be suspicious.
