Meghan Watelet has joined Chartiers Valley High School as its new assistant principal.

Watelet has served children and families as an English and special education teacher and, most recently, as a school counselor in the Butler Area School District.

She holds a K-12 Principal Certification from the University of Pittsburgh and a masters in school counseling from Duquesne University. She earned a bachelor of arts in English, secondary education, and special education from Washington and Jefferson College.

Watelet replaces Robbie Butts, who accepted a position with the South Fayette School District earlier this school year.
