Earth Day celebration

The Bradford Woods Conservancy is hosting an Earth Day Celebration at the Reserve in Bradford Woods on April 22 from 10 a.m to 2 p.m.

Activities for adults and children are:

10-11 a.m. — activity tables, light refreshments will be provided.

11 a.m. to noon — Herpetologist April Claus will present a hands-on, interactive talk about amphibians and reptiles that are in our backyards. Bring a chair for the presentation. Meet and touch some live snakes, toads, turtles, and salamanders. After the program, participants can hike around the nearby pond and try to catch some critters. Bring boots, nets, small plastic containers and enthusiasm.
