Boy shot in Sheraden

A juvenile boy was hospitalized in stable condition Thursday afternoon after being shot multiple times in Pittsburgh’s Sheraden neighborhood, city police said.

Police said they found the victim in the 2700 block of Glen Mawr Street after being alerted to the sounds of gunshots in the 2700 block of Narcissus Avenue around 3:50 p.m.

Police said they applied two tourniquets on the boy before Pittsburgh EMS arrived.

Additional details were not immediately available.

The investigation is ongoing.
