There were 29 new covid-19 cases reported in Allegheny County, according to the health department.
Coronavirus-related deaths increased, as four new deaths were added after two straight days without any.
New cases in the county, 27 of which are confirmed and two probable, come from 954 unique tests. The age range for new cases is 17 to 77, with a median age of 21.
The date of positive tests ranged from Aug. 6 to Monday, with only one test coming from Aug. 6. The majority of test dates were Aug. 24 through Monday.

Of the new deaths in the county, two were in their 70s and two in their 80s, with two deaths associated with a long-care facility. Dates of deaths were Aug. 28 and 29.
The death total in Allegheny County is now 334.
Six new hospitalizations were also reported, which bring the hospitalization total to 975. There are 71 covid-19 patients hospitalized in Allegheny County, with 17 of them requiring a ventilator, according to the state Department of Health.
The county estimates 7,403 cases have recovered from covid-19.
