Allegheny County reported 106 new covid-19 cases Tuesday, according to the county Health Department.
One new coronavirus-related death was reported, as well.
Total cases increased to 15,101 and total deaths are now 422.
Allegheny County coronavirus by dayInfogramIn the county, there are currently 154 covid-19 patients hospitalized, with 22 of them on ventilators, according to the state’s covid-19 dashboard.
Dates of positive tests range from Oct. 3-26. Of the new cases, 52 are confirmed and 54 are probable. Ages of new cases range from three weeks to 93 years old, with a media age of 46 years old.
The new covid-19 death was a person in their 70s who died Sunday.
Daily case counts in Allegheny County have reached triple digits most days over the last two weeks. In the past 14 days, new covid-19 cases have been 100 or more 11 out of 14 days.
