Allegheny County on Sunday recorded 62 new coronavirus cases with no additional deaths.
The county’s total number of cases stands at 10,771.
The 62 new cases - 59 were confirmed and three probable - were out of 771 test results.
New cases range in age from four to 97 years with a median age of 45 years. The date of positive tests ranged from Aug. 25 through Saturday.
Allegheny County has seen a general decrease in the number of covid-19 case continuing in September. The county’s seven-day average of new cases is 66 as of Sunday.

In the first week of September, the county saw one day of triple-digit cases (Thursday). Officials reported 68 case on Saturday and 92 cases Friday. In August, the county saw four days with more than 100 cases.
No new deaths were reported, leaving the total at 349. There were no deaths reported on Saturday either.
Since March 14, there have been 1,029 hospitalizations of Allegheny County residents.
Pennsylvania’s covid-19 tracking website reports there are currently 60 Allegheny County residents being treated for covid-19 in hospitals, with 12 of them on ventilators.
