2 juveniles shot in Pittsburgh’s Sheraden
A shooting in Pittsburgh’s Sheraden neighborhood Sunday night resulted in two juveniles being sent to the hospital, police said.
Pittsburgh police said officers were alerted to a 17-round Shotspotter alert in the 500 block of Sherwood Avenue around 8:45 p.m.

While investigating the area, police said they were notified of a juvenile with a gunshot wound to the leg and then located him in the 2900 block of Zephyr Avenue.
Police said officers applied tourniquets to the victim’s legs while awaiting Pittsburgh EMS.
A second victim was found with a gunshot injury to the foot, police said.
Medics transported both victims, in stable condition, to an area hospital. The condition of both victims is unknown.
An investigation is ongoing.
