Woman injured, person in custody in mid-afternoon shooting in Lawrenceville
Pittsburgh police took one person into custody after a woman was shot Friday afternoon in Lawrenceville.
Allegheny County emergency dispatchers said the shooting happened around 3 p.m. in the 5200 block of Keystone Street.
Public Safety spokeswoman Amanda Mueller said the woman was shot in the arm and went to the hospital without being transported by an ambulance. She was reported to be in stable condition.
No other injuries were reported.
Mueller said one person was taken into custody. No information about the suspect was released late Friday.
