Wiz Khalifa will return to the Pittsburgh area to push his medical marijuana products, which will be available Monday in Pennsylvania.

Rapper Wiz Khalifa is making another mark on the Pittsburgh area — his medical marijuana products will be available at Trulieve locations statewide starting Monday.

Khalifa, a graduate of Allderdice High School in Squirrel Hill, will be back in his old neighborhood at the Trulieve location there, as well as one in Washington, to meet with patients on Monday, according to an announcement.

Khalifa Kush launched at Florida Trulieve locations Nov. 16 through a partnership between Khalifa and Trulieve, and has been spreading to other states around the country.

“It’s super cool to be able to sell KK legally in Pittsburgh and because they know it’s Wiz’s, it’s going to be bomb, of course it’s gonna drive the city and the state crazy,” Khalifa said in the announcement.

In addition to the personal appearances, the cannabis company will be hosting pop-up events at dispensaries from noon to 6 p.m. where customers could win Khalifa Kush swag and receive educational materials. Local participating Trulieve locations are at 200 Federal St. on the North Shore, 5600 Forward Ave. in Squirrel Hill, 20269 Route 19 in Cranberry Township, 339 Main St. in Johnstown and 200 Adios Drive, Suite 20 in Washington.

Pennsylvania patients will have access to Khalifa Kush in a variety of forms at Trulieve locations including whole flower products, vapes, tinctures, topicals and ingestibles.
