In recognition of its silver anniversary with the Allegheny Regional Asset District, the National Aviary is hosting a yearlong visitor promotion initiative.

The special prizes and incentives mark RAD’s 25 years of “significant support” provided to the North Side facility, according to a news release.

Aviary patrons on the 25th of each month can expect a special surprise activity.

On March 25, visitors will have the chance to win experiences, gifts and discounts by spinning a prize wheel. Prizes include tickets to see the immersive experience “Amazing Amazon,” presented by AAA Travel, the chance to hand-feed a flock of rainbow lorikeets and a sloth encounter for two, the release adds.

Visitors can check the 25 RADical Years web page on the National Aviary’s website, www.aviary.org, via social media using the hashtag #RAD25 and in the organization’s Airmail e-newsletter.

Announcements will be made on the 26th day of each month for the following month’s activity.
