Most popular Valentine's gifts in each state
OK, guys. By now you either have your Valentine’s Day gift or … well, good luck.
But what presents are guys around the country buying the most?
The folks at the online store All About Gifts & Baskets used sales data and a survey to customers to put together a list of the most popular Valentine’s Day gifts given by men in each state.
In Pennsylvania, teddy bears were the most gifted romantic present. It was the same in four other states — Alaska, Iowa, New Mexico and Wyoming.
Flowers were the most gifted item overall, with 27 states giving them in some form. In 16 states, roses were the specific choice. Guys in 11 other states, including Ohio and West Virginia, went with various kinds of flowers.
Chocolate was the choice for guys in 13 states, including New York and Hawaii.
Three states’ men preferred to gift their sweetheart with a spa experience. Those would be Kansas, Nebraska and Virginia.
In Florida and Texas, men went with lingerie the most. Makes sense, as those are two of the country’s hottest states.
And only one state’s gentlemen — Oregon — opted for jewelry as a gift.
Now, none of this goes to understanding what women actually want on Valentine’s Day.
