Ligonier chamber 2020 photo calendar on sale
The Ligonier Valley Chamber of Commerce’s 2020 photo calendar is on sale beginning this week.
“This year’s calendar showcases unique images of the Ligonier Valley as captured by some of our area’s most talented photographers,” said Scott Haines, executive director of the chamber.
The calendar photos were selected through contest submissions, with a $25 prize and a copy of the calendar awarded for each winning image.
April Ferraro Reppucci submitted three photos that made the cut for the calendar — views of Linn Run in the snow, the shops surrounding Ligonier’s central Diamond Park, and a Ligonier sunset.
Tiffani Nieusma’s scene of the Diamond at night is featured on the cover of the calendar.
Barbara Banales and Sam Banales each is represented twice on the calendar pages — the former with photos of a gas pump and pipers, the latter with photos capturing Idlewild Park and some reenactors.
Clare Kaczmarek’s pair of winning photos show an ice sculpture and a barn.
Other selected photo subjects include: Another scene along Linn Run, by Robert Fescemyer; a purple house by Anna Jo Noviello; and Ligonier’s Friendship Park by Mariah Fisher.
The calendar can be purchased at the chamber office, 120 E. Main St., or by calling the chamber at 724-238-4200. The $12 cost doesn’t include shipping.
