Happy Father’s Day! Take Dad, your friends or yourself to these events and celebrations this weekend — everyone deserves some fun!

Row House Cinema 10th Anniversary

Row House Cinema in Lawrenceville is celebrating 10 years in the community with special screenings and a block party this Saturday.

From 3 to 6 p.m., they will host an outdoor event on Butler Street that will include music, activities for kids and refreshments including burgers, popcorn and beverages. Outdoor seating will also be available. KSD tattoos will be on hand to provide Row House and movie themed “flash tattoos” to those 18 and older for $50. There will also be a VHS and DVD swap tent where participants can bring their old media and get something new to watch.

The theater will hold a 3:05 p.m. pay-what-you-wish screening of “The Princess Diaries” and a 6 p.m. screening of “The Princess Bride” — with a live band, a brief history of the theater, cake and a champagne toast.

Pittsburgh Juneteenth celebration

Celebrate Juneteenth this weekend Downtown with a variety of community events. There will be things going on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with the bulk being held on Saturday.

On that day, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., a parade will be held on Fifth Avenue Downtown. That will be followed by the Juneteenth Economic Summit from 2 to 4 p.m.

There will be musicians — including Arrested Development, Keke Wyatt and Kelly Price — performing on stages at Point State Park and Market Square throughout the weekend.

Inside Out at the Carnegie Museum of Art

The Carnegie Museum of Art will begin another year of its Inside Out programs, which will run every Thursday and Saturday through Aug. 23, with an event this Saturday. The series is meant to celebrate Pittsburgh’s cultural landscape, and events are free and open to the public.

Inside Out will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the museum’s Sculpture Court. This kickoff features PearlArts Movement & Sound in a program called “Flourish: The Ripple Effect.” It will include a performance “Embodying patience and power.”

The event will also have food trucks and a cash bar for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as workshops curated by YOGAMOTIF.

Bridgeville Day on the Avenue

Visit Washington Avenue in Bridgeville this Saturday for a fun festival for the community. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., there will be food, games and more. A car cruise will take place during the afternoon, with live music provided by Velveeta, Whiskey Mills and Elias Khouri.

Histories and Mysteries of the Allegheny River

Doors Open Pittsburgh will host this 90-minute cruise to unlock the mysteries of the Allegheny River. The tour begins and ends at the Gateway Clipper Fleet docks in Station Square and lasts from 1 to 3 p.m. this Saturday.

With expert tour guides leading the way, attendees will learn about the architectural and historical stories of the Allegheny River. Admission is $40 for adults and $15 for children. The tour is rain or shine, and both indoor and outdoor seating are available on the boat. Food and drink can also be purchased.
