Guest bartenders serving up help for Hospaws animal care in Youngwood

Guest bartenders will serve drinks to benefit Hospaws from 6-9 p.m. April 30 at The Lamplighter, 6566 Route 22, Delmont.

Hospaws provides assistance in caring for pets of local residents who are undergoing medical treatment.

Based in Youngwood, the nonprofit organization makes arrangements for animals to have food and basic care, transportation to the vet or groomer and fostering in cases of owners going into long-term care facilities. The organization recently celebrated its fifth anniversary.

The guest bartender list includes Lora Kay and Matt White, 6-7 p.m.; Reed Nelson and Adam Ferri, 7-8 p.m.; and Shelly Iapalucci, Amy Beard and Jamie Barnhart, 8-9 p.m.

All tips and $1 from each signature drink sold will got to Hospaws.

The evening also will feature music from DJ Diamond Dave, 50/50 and Chinese auction.
