Items for sale at the 2018 Dry Ridge Garden Club plant sale included a set of planters and a planted chair.

Dry Ridge Garden Club of Greensburg will hold its annual plant sale May 4 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Hempfield.

Open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., the event will feature hardy perennials, annuals, vegetables, a bake sale and a basket auction. Lunch also will be available.

This year’s raffle items include a dresser drawer planter and a garden-themed planted chair.

Proceeds from the sale are donated to local community charities.

Founded in 1961, the garden club meets at 7 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month, except in November. Meetings are held at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 501 Fairfield Drive, in West Point.
