'Books & Brew' tasting event coming to Ligonier Valley Library

Ligonier Valley Library will host a Books & Brew tasting event on May 3.

A Books & Brew fundraiser is planned for 6-8 p.m. May 3 in the Ligonier Valley Library on the Diamond.

The 21-and-older event will feature:

• Tasting tables by Whitehorse Brewing, Old Towne Distillery, Country Hammer Moonshine and Stone Bridge Brewing

• Raffles, including the library’s signature “Cork Pull”

• Assorted appetizers

• Live music by Wayne Shaffer.

The Ligonier YMCA will offer a “Kids Night In” program to coincide with the event. Guests wishing to take advantage of the Y program should let library personnel know when they register.

The library will close at 3 p.m. May 3 to prepare for Books & Brew.

Cost is $25 per person, cash or check only. Dress is casual.
