The Norwin Middle School Interact Club is planning its first waffle breakfast.

The Norwin Middle School Interact Club will hold its first waffle breakfast Saturday in downtown Irwin.

The meal will be served 9 a.m. to noon at the Masonic Hall, in the 400 block of Main Street. The breakfast includes waffle with choice of toppings, sausage, coffee and juice. The cost is $6.

Proceeds will benefit the club, a youth affiliate of Rotary International.

Rotary created Interact in 1962. Since then, the program for ages 12-18 has grown to more than 15,000 clubs in 142 countries. Interact members volunteer in their communities, make international connections and develop leadership skills while making new friends.
