Cheesecake is a very versatile choice when picking favorites for National Dessert Day — it’s got countless different versions throughout the world and can be combined with a wide variety of other flavors.

Thursday is National Dessert Day. And you know the TribLive Taste Test Squad wasn’t going to pass that up.

But we decided to not only offer our thoughts on favorite desserts, but also to get some feedback from readers as well as staff members at the Greensburg office.

What’s your favorite dessert of all time? Is it something you can buy at the grocery store, or a long-time family recipe?

Next week, we’ll be attempting to conduct a “very scientific” experiment to determine the most popular Halloween candy as the holiday creeps closer.
