In front, Cam Heyward’s Blitz Mix, looking suspiciously similar in composition to its little cousin in the back, Pittsburgh Party Mix.

This week we’re dipping our toes into the water of athlete-branded snack food, with Cam Heyward’s Blitz Mix, a snack mix blend sold exclusively through Giant Eagle and PLB Sports & Entertainment, the company that brought us Flutie Flakes, Patrick Mahomes Magic Crunch, Stefon Diggs Hot Sauce and yes, even a cereal named for New Orleans rapper Master P.

But the snack mix looked awfully familiar to us, so we hit a different grocery store to see if our hunch was correct. You’ll have to watch the video to find out.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the snack mix will benefit Heyward’s foundation, The Heyward House, whose mission is to impact the lives of young people through a variety of programs including literacy, covid relief, acts of kindness and more.

You can pick up a 28-ounce jug of Cam Heyward’s Blitz Mix for $6.99 at local Giant Eagle stores. Or, if you’d like to pay a lot more money for no reason, you can order 2 jugs for $34.99 plus shipping and handling from PLBSE.com.
