Giant Eagle presents recipes, videos from 4 celebrity chefs
Giant Eagle has teamed with four culinary celebrities to offer free online recipe demonstrations.
Supermarket officials said the demonstrations are meant to help area residents prepare budget-conscious meals while staying at home during the coronavirus pandemic.
The cooking series includes:
• Buddy Valastro, host of “Cake Boss,” leading a “Kids’ Baking Class” with his son, Marco, as they make deep-fried cookies;
• Jeff Mauro, host of Food Network’s “Sandwich King” and “The Kitchen,” whipping together ingredients for a “Breakfast In Bed” brunch;
• Alex Guarnaschelli, Food Network star and judge of “Chopped,” presenting “Kid-Friendly Creative Lunches;”
• Adam Richman, former host of “Man v. Food” and “Secret Eats,” making his mother’s chicken Marsala recipe.
“We want our communities to know that lifelong, positive memories can still be created at home with family,” Giant Eagle spokesperson Jannah Jablonowski said in a press release. “That’s why we’ve launched this online cooking series where nationally known food experts are sharing tips on stocking up and cooking quarantine-friendly foods that the whole family can help make.”
